Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance ETL/ELT data pipelines to support Data Warehouse and analytics platforms.

Build and optimize data integration processes, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.

Automate development and deployment workflows through CI/CD pipelines, managing releases across multiple environments.

Design and implement robust data models and architectures, following Data Engineering and Business Intelligence best practices.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into efficient data solutions.

Support and empower end users working with Dataiku and Tableau, promoting adoption and best practices.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data processing workflows and platform performance.

Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to junior team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, or a related field.

5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.

Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration tools (e.g., Alteryx, Talend).

Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and optimization.

Strong programming skills in Python and/or PySpark.

Experience designing and maintaining Data Warehouse solutions and data architectures.

Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and performance optimization principles.
Nice to Have

Experience with Apache NiFi, Dataiku, and/or Tableau.

Previous experience within the banking or financial services sector.

Knowledge of Credit Risk, Risk Management, or Regulatory Reporting.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and tools such as JIRA.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
