What You’ll Do
As a Host/Hostess, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience from the moment they arrive. You’ll combine professionalism, warmth, and strong organizational skills to create a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth guest flow and efficient seating coordination. Your role is essential in delivering outstanding hospitality and representing the energy, quality, and personality of the venue.
Your Main ResponsibilitiesGuest Welcome & Reception
Welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and engaging approach.
Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists efficiently while maintaining a positive guest experience.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus when required.
Create a warm and inviting first impression for every guest entering the venue.
Guest Experience & Communication
Build rapport with guests and ensure they feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit.
Answer guest questions regarding menus, opening hours, events, and venue information.
Handle guest requests and concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Maintain clear communication with guests regarding waiting times and table availability.
Reservation & Seating Management
Manage table rotations effectively to optimize service flow and seating capacity.
Coordinate reservations using the booking system and maintain accurate guest records.
Work closely with floor staff and management to ensure smooth seating arrangements and balanced service sections.
Coordination & Teamwork
Communicate efficiently with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management throughout service.
Attend pre-service briefings to stay updated on reservations, events, specials, and operational priorities.
Support the team during busy periods to ensure seamless guest service.
Organization & Front-of-House Presentation
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area at all times.
Ensure menus, reservation systems, and front-of-house materials are prepared and up to date before service.
Monitor the entrance and dining room atmosphere to maintain high hospitality standards.
Time Management & Efficiency
Handle high-volume service periods calmly and efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure smooth guest flow and minimal waiting times.
Safety, Compliance & Professional Standards
Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and venue procedures.
Maintain professional appearance and presentation standards at all times.
Ensure guest confidentiality and handle personal information responsibly.
Brand Representation
Represent the venue with energy, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
Deliver service that reflects the venue’s identity, hospitality standards, and guest-focused culture.
Act as an ambassador of the brand, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a host/hostess or front-of-house role within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a guest-focused mindset.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Confident multitasking and problem-solving abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: 1,500.00€ - 2,000.00€ per month
