We’re looking for a kitchen team member for our hostel in Lisbon!
Full time position.
You’ll be part of our kitchen team, preparing breakfast and Neapolitan-style pizzas, depending on the shift and daily needs.
We’re looking for someone friendly, reliable, social, and fluent in English. Our kitchen is open, so communication with guests and the team is a big part of the role.
Previous experience with Neapolitan-style pizza is a plus, but not required. We can teach that. What matters most is attitude, energy, empathy, and being a great team player.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience
- Immediate availability
- Organised, responsible, and able to work independently
- Proactive and dynamic attitude
- Ability to coordinate and work with a team
- Fluent English
- Experience with Neapolitan-style pizza is preferred, but not required
Some of your main responsibilities will include
- Preparing and cooking pizzas and breakfast
- Ensuring consistent quality and following recipes, procedures, and food safety regulations
- Preparing and maintaining "mise en place"
- Managing stock and helping control kitchen supplies
- Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean, organised, and ready for service
