An exciting opportunity is available for a Cloud Engineer to contribute to the evolution of high-impact infrastructure and developer platforms across cloud environments. This role is tailored for professionals with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, who are passionate about automation, DevOps, platform engineering, and cloud-native technologies.
This position involves building, scaling, and maintaining internal developer platforms and cloud infrastructures, with a strong focus on automation, observability, security, and developer experience (DevX). The professional will work closely with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to support cloud adoption, platform reliability, and modern software delivery practices using Kubernetes, GitOps, IaC, and other industry-leading tools.
Depending on the client or project, occasional travel may be required (estimated 0%–15%).
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, supporting highly available and scalable environments.
- Develop and evolve internal platforms that improve developer experience, using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), GKE, or EKS as core orchestration layers.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible), ensuring consistency, scalability, and compliance.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins, integrating with Kubernetes and cloud resources.
- Apply GitOps principles using tools like FluxCD to manage deployments and configuration at scale.
- Ensure robust observability using monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, DataDog, CloudWatch, or Kibana.
- Engage in root cause analysis and proactive incident prevention, particularly within Unix/Linux environments.
- Collaborate directly with client-side technical and business stakeholders (including C-level), requiring fluent English communication.
- Contribute to the setup and optimization of network, security, CDN (e.g., CloudFront, Akamai), and cost-management practices (FinOps).
- Mentor teams on DevOps methodologies and cloud-native development, promoting a culture of learning and technical excellence.
- Support secure software development lifecycles (SDLC) aligned with zero-trust and cloud security best practices.
- Proven experience in managing infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure (GCP is a strong plus).
- Background in software engineering or platform engineering, with understanding of cloud-native development principles.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE), including Helm, service mesh (e.g., Linkerd), ingress (e.g., Kong), and security hardening.
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security models, storage, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Experience with open-source tools and automation frameworks in Kubernetes and DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go).
- Practical experience with monitoring, tracing, and log aggregation solutions for production environments.
- Knowledge of FinOps practices and cost optimization strategies in cloud.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working in global, agile teams.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with ease in navigating discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work across diverse cloud platforms, applying cutting-edge DevOps and platform engineering principles. The professional will play a critical role in enabling agile teams to deliver software efficiently, securely, and at scale—supporting strategic digital transformation initiatives led by our clients.
