We're looking for an experienced SAP FICO BRIM Consultant to join our team in Portugal in a remote working mode. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert for SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM), Settlement Management, and royalty processes, focusing on 3rd Party Legal Licensing and Intercompany Royalty Settlements. You will define architecture solutions, configure FI/CO processes, and ensure end-to-end compliance across financial, tax, and reporting requirements. This is an opportunity to lead critical transformations in global royalty processes, contributing to automation and strategic enterprise financial operations.
Responsibilities

Design solution architecture and analyze business requirements for Royalty and BRIM processes
- Implement SAP Settlement Management and configure royalty-related FI/CO and tax functionalities
- Lead setup for 3rd Party Legal Licensing and Intercompany Royalty processes, including reporting models
- Support quarter-end and year-end closing activities for Intercompany royalty calculations
- Perform data quality checks and ensure data consistency across BW, COPA, and reporting layers
- Configure IP owner structures for royalty calculation and allocation
- Provide audit readiness and SOX compliance support for global operations
- Manage incidents, service requests, and conduct root cause analysis for issue resolution
- Drive enhancements, automation initiatives, and performance optimization in BRIM environments
- Collaborate with ABAP and BI teams for custom reporting and data extraction using SAP BI/BW
- Maintain solution documentation and monitor operational stability
Requirements

8+ years of SAP experience with expertise in Settlement Management and BRIM solutions
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AR, AP) and SAP CO (PCA, CCA, COPA) processes
- Experience with SAP FICA (both AR and AP), revenue flows, and advanced tax handling (input/output, withholding tax)
- Solid understanding of Intercompany processes and legal licensing scenarios
- Expertise in SAP SD (technofunctional) and integration with BRIM
- Knowledge of full BRIM suite components from SOM to CI/FICA functional process flow
- Advanced SAP BI/BW experience with data extraction and reporting design
- Hands-on experience in ABAP debugging for functional-technical collaboration
- Ability to work with compliance frameworks and support SOX audits in multi-country environments
