About the Role
The Director will act as a trusted advisor to senior A&T and BMI leadership, combining the rigor of a top-tier management consultancy with deep organizational knowledge. This is a high-visibility, high-impact leadership position at the intersection of strategy, execution, AI transformation and thought leadership.
We are looking for someone with a "go-get" attitude, curious and independent thinker, self-driven who is comfortable with ambiguity, thrives in complex matrix environments and willing to challenge conventional thinking to unlock new sources of value.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Execution
Serve as the execution engine that translates A&T and BMI strategic ambitions into trackable, measurable outcomes. Break down complex strategic challenges into working hypotheses and clear action plans for senior leadership decision-making. Identify execution bottlenecks, escalate risks and propose corrective actions to keep strategic initiatives on track.
Strategic Acceleration
Operate as an internal strategy partner for Vertical and Capability Leads on strategic initiatives, including pipeline initiatives, go-to-market (GTM) plans and product development roadmaps. Bring structured problem-solving, hypothesis-driven thinking and analytical rigor to complex business questions. Identify cross-vertical areas of confluence and synergies, connecting dots and surfacing opportunities for integrated value creation, identify strategic gaps, white-spaces and areas requiring leadership attention.
Leadership Presentations
Coordinate and support the preparation of Senior Leadership (C-Level) presentations on Business and Product Reviews, focusing on current performance, market trends and potential updates to strategic plans. Translate complex, multi-dimensional problems into crisp, executive-ready narratives suitable for senior leadership and C-level audiences.
AI Consulting Cross-View
As we move towards an AI-by-design way of working, support on identifying cross-functional, panoramic view of AI impact across business lines, supporting the definition and scaling AI-enabled consulting by bringing together data, technology, and domain expertise into repeatable, high-impact solutions ready for market deployment. Work in close partnership with the AI Lead to identify, prioritize, and materialize high-value AI use cases that enhance consulting delivery, internal productivity, and client outcomes.
Thought Leadership & Brand Activation
Active driver for the internal and external A&T branding position, supporting Thought Leadership plans from ideation to publication. Coordinate with Vertical Leads, Insights & Intelligence (I&I), B2B Marketing and Communications on content guidelines, editorial cadence, and workflow processes. Ensure A&T is consistently positioned as a leading voice on innovative and top of mind topics (e.g. AI consulting)
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- Min. 8 years of experience, with a strong strategic consulting background (ideally at a top-tier consulting)
- Experience managing cross-functional strategic initiatives within a matrixed, complex global organization
- Relevant experience presenting to senior audiences, with the ability to hold the room, shape the narrative and drive decisions at the highest level
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to question data, challenge assumptions and exercise sound judgement under pressure. Turns numbers into actionable insights.
- Track record translating high-level strategy into operational execution with measurable outcomes
- Experience working across multiple business lines or verticals, with the ability to understand cross-vertical scope, areas of confluence, and potential synergies
- Deep understanding of how AI can transform consulting — from problem identification to solution delivery. Supports the definition and scaling of AI-enabled consulting by integrating data, technology, and expertise into repeatable, high-impact market solutions.
