What you’ll do:
1. Endpoint Defense & EDR Management
Monitor and maintain EDR/AV coverage across EMEA and US endpoints.
Track endpoint compliance and security updates; identify and report gaps.
Provide first-line support for endpoint security issues.
2. SOC Analyst (L1)
Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts during EMEA and US business hours.
Analyse phishing emails and investigate endpoint threats.
Correlate security events to identify attack patterns.
Escalate incidents to L2/L3 teams and support remediation.
3. Cloud & Network Security Operations
Support provisioning, maintenance, and decommissioning of AWS/Azure cloud resources.
Perform routine network administration and security access reviews.
Monitor and respond to security events within the SD-WAN/SASE environment.
4. Reporting & Compliance
Align security operations with the Global IT Security team.
Prepare monthly security metrics, dashboards, and compliance reports for leadership.
What you’ll need:
The ideal candidate is an early-career IT, cloud, or cybersecurity professional who has demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. A security, IT, or cloud certification is not required, but certifications such as Security+, CompTIA, or cloud associate-level credentials are a plus. Self-directed lab work, cloud labs, infrastructure troubleshooting experience, or hands-on exposure to monitoring and security tools may also demonstrate readiness for this role.
This position is well suited for someone who can support cloud operations, assist with security monitoring, follow established processes, communicate clearly, and contribute to a global cloud and cybersecurity operations function with appropriate guidance and training.
Experience
1–3 years of experience in IT operations, cloud operations, infrastructure support, cybersecurity, SOC, help desk, or a related technical support role. Internship experience or a transition from help desk into cloud or security operations will be considered.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure operations, including basic administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support of cloud-based services.
Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud provider, such as AWS or Azure.
Basic exposure to endpoint protection, security monitoring, or incident response processes.
Experience working in a global or multi-site IT environment is a plus.
Technical Knowledge
Foundational understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, including compute, storage, networking, identity and access management, logging, and monitoring.
Basic knowledge of cloud security concepts, such as access control, network security groups/security rules, activity logs, and security monitoring.
Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing, and VPN concepts.
Understanding of IT operations fundamentals, including service monitoring, ticketing, troubleshooting, escalation paths, and documentation.
Familiarity with cybersecurity operations concepts, including alert triage, incident notes, containment, remediation, and handoff processes.
Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Bash is a plus, especially for automation, reporting, or log analysis.
Skills
Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset, with the ability to investigate infrastructure issues, alerts, or anomalies methodically.
Clear written communication skills for tickets, incident notes, documentation, operational updates, and cross-region handoffs.
Ability to work independently across time zones and regions.
Coachable, adaptable, and willing to learn across both cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity operations.
Comfortable operating in an environment with multiple stakeholders, evolving processes, and some ambiguity.
