PORTUGALIACORK is a Portuguese manufacturer and distributor of cork products, serving B2B wholesale customers in international markets.
We are looking for a driven, results-oriented, and commercially minded Key Account Manager to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with wholesale customers, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and contributing to the company’s growth strategy. You will play a central role in strengthening our international presence and expanding our business across global markets.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Sales, Economics, or a related field
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in an additional language is an advantage
- 3+ years of experience in B2B key account management
- Proven track record of growing accounts and closing deals in international markets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working autonomously
- Willingness and availability to travel internationally
Key responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities and develop strategies to drive market growth and expand the customer base
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and negotiation to order fulfilment and post-sales support
- Coordinate and monitor order management processes, ensuring compliance with agreed timelines and customer requirements
- Manage the administrative aspects of commercial activities, including the preparation, issuance, and control of business documentation
- Represent PORTUGALIACORK at industry events, trade fairs, and customer visits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent customer service and achieve commercial objectives
