We are a small international school with a Cambridge license, looking for a "heart and soul" of our campus. As our School Principal, you will be the primary point of contact for families and the operational leader on-site, working closely with our Board.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership: Coordinating schemes of work, observing demo lessons for new hires, leading staff meetings, and proofreading student reports.
School Operations: Managing the school schedule, arranging substitutions, and overseeing the on-site team (administrator, chef, and teachers).
Parent Relations: Acting as the "face of the school" for new families, conducting tours, and communicating academic progress to parents, enrollment, communicating with partners
Student Onboarding: Guiding new students through their integration process.
Requirements:
Native or Fluent English (C1/C2) and experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
Teaching degree and classroom experience (ideally Preschool or Primary).
Strong organizational skills and a "can-do" attitude for a small school environment.
Residency in Portugal and availability to start in September 2026.
