Skills, knowledge, experience required:
- Experience writing or enforcing security policies and procedures;
- Prior compliance audit experience (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, GDPR);
- Experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
Desirable:
- Relevant cyber security certifications. For example the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Duties/role:
- Supporting the NCI Academy in the definition, design, procurement/development, and implementation of Communications and Information Systems (CIS), ensuring an appropriate level of security risk is achieved and demonstrating and evidencing compliance with Agency CIS security accreditation policy;
- Supporting projects, services, and other activities introducing new or modified CIS by documenting security risk assessments and policy compliance to facilitate security accreditation;
- Coordinating with the Chief Technical Officer’s (CTO) CIS Planning and Implementation Authority (CISPIA) team to support the delivery of secure CIS in line with CTO direction and guidance.
