YOUR MISSIONS
Provide advanced civil engineering expertise for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS and hybrid), including design support, technical analysis, intermediate validations, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Work with a high level of autonomy, ensuring quality and consistency of technical deliverables, while supporting junior colleagues and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the COE.
Technical Analysis & Design Development
-
Analyse project documentation (RFPs/RFQs, drawings, geotechnical/topographical data) and identify civil constraints, risks and opportunities.
-
Perform civil engineering calculations covering earthworks, slopes, drainage, stormwater systems and preliminary foundation sizing.
-
Support the development of civil design deliverables, including grading plans, access roads, drainage concepts, BOQs, technical notes and construction details.
-
Contribute to preliminary and basic design phases, ensuring alignment with COE standards and project requirements.
-
Provide civil engineering inputs for contractual documents such as PPA technical annexes, MFR requirements and procurement specifications.
Technical Review & Construction Support
-
Conduct first‑pass and intermediate reviews of civil and structural deliverables from EPC Contractors, Owner’s Engineering and external consultants.
-
Validate independently standard civil design elements (typical foundations, simple drainage layouts, earthworks).
-
Review EPC submittals and prepare structured technical comments to support construction team.
-
Participate in alignment meetings with EPC, OE, suppliers and advisors to clarify design assumptions and resolve technical deviations.
-
Support construction-phase activities by analysing site conditions, identifying civil/structural issues and proposing engineering‑aligned solutions.
-
Assist construction team in evaluating change requests, construction methodologies and civil-related technical risks.
Procurement, Supplier Interaction & Stakeholder Support
-
Prepare civil inputs for RFQs, tender packages and technical exhibits (scope descriptions, BOQs, assumptions).
-
Support technical evaluations of supplier and EPC proposals related to civil works, drainage systems and foundation solutions.
-
Provide clarifications to Procurement, EPC and suppliers regarding civil requirements included in PPA, MFR and contractual documents.
-
Contribute to the assessment of suppliers and to the development of approved vendor lists for civil and structural components.
Field Support, Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Internal Development
-
Conduct site visits to validate design assumptions, evaluate terrain, drainage patterns and constructability constraints.
-
Prepare technical field reports summarising observations, risks and recommended actions.
-
Support Development, Procurement, Construction, O&M and Asset Management on civil-related topics across the project lifecycle.
-
Contribute to technical due diligence for acquisitions or financing processes.
-
Support the improvement of COE templates, engineering standards and design tools.
-
Provide guidance to Associates and Analysts, supporting knowledge-sharing within the COE.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.

3–8 years of experience in civil engineering (renewables strongly valued).
-
Solid command of AutoCAD and Civil 3D for grading, platforms, surfaces and alignments.
-
Experience with structural analysis tools (Robot or similar).
-
Ability to interpret geotechnical/hydrological studies and translate them into engineering implications.
-
Familiarity with solar design tools (PVCase, Helios3D) is valued.
-
English mandatory; French/Portuguese is a plus.
