Description
We are looking for a Infrastructure Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing both virtual (Hyper-V HCI, VMware) and physical servers, databases, storage, and cloud resources (MS Azure). This role involves operational support, infrastructure optimization, automation, and collaboration with multiple teams to ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of our IT and OT hosting infrastructure.
Requirements

Strong experience in hosting infrastructure operations and migration projects
- Proficiency in virtualization: Hyper-V, Azure Stack HCI, VMware
- Solid experience with Windows Server and Linux administration
- Database experience: MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, including backups, patching, and performance tuning
- Cloud operations experience, especially MS Azure
- Scripting and automation skills: PowerShell, Ansible
- Proficiency in backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam Backup)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to report status clearly
- Fluent in English
Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure servers (virtual and physical)
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux operating systems
- Standardize server builds, templates, and images
- Manage server lifecycle and optimize compute resources (CPU, memory, storage)
- Provide 2nd/3rd level server support
- Install, configure, and maintain databases, including high-availability setups
- Manage database backups, restores, patching, security, and performance tuning
- Manage enterprise storage systems, file services, and backup/recovery platforms
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions, conduct DR testing and planning
- Automate infrastructure tasks and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and documentation
- Apply patches, updates, and security fixes for hosting infrastructure (OS, database, storage, backup)
- Participate in troubleshooting sessions and CAB changes
- Collaborate with multiple teams: network, security, identity, cloud, and operations
- Maintain inventory, incident trackers, event reports, and knowledge transfer sessions
- Support cut-over plans, installation guides, deployment guides, and infrastructure optimization initiatives

Experience with DevOps practices in infrastructure management
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and reporting dashboards
- Experience with both on-prem and cloud-based datacenter operations
- Knowledge in implementing security baselines and vulnerability remediation
- Exposure to hybrid IT/OT hosting environments
