Job Overview
Target Country: Portugal Service: Notarization and Chinese Consular Legalization of corporate documents, to be submitted to a Chinese court as proof of corporate legal status. Estimated Fee: 2,500 USD
Scope of Responsibilities
- Obtain the company's latest Commercial Registry Certificate (Certidão Permanente) and other corporate status documents
- Notarize the above documents through a Portuguese Notary (Notário)
- Complete intermediate authentication with the competent Portuguese authority (if required)
- Submit the documents to the Embassy/Consulate of the People's Republic of China in Portugal for Consular Legalization
- Once legalization is complete, send the full set of original documents to the client's designated address
Vendor Requirements
Licensed Attorney (Advogado) or Notary (Notário) in Portugal, ideally with experience handling notarization and Chinese embassy/consulate legalization on behalf of clients.
Information the Client Will Provide
- Full company name and business registration number (Company name & NIPC)
- Existing company documents (articles of association, registration certificate, etc., if available)
- ID document of the legal representative / authorized signatory
- Power of Attorney (if you'll be acting on the client's behalf)
- Information on the related Chinese court case (accepting court, purpose of the documents)
Timeline
Estimated 3–5 weeks total from engagement (notarization ~1 week; consular legalization ~2–4 weeks). Estimated Hours: Approximately 5–8 hours of active professional work, spread across the engagement period.
Payment
Flatfee retains a 30% service fee upon a successful match — please factor this into your quoted price. Payment terms will be confirmed once you're selected.
