Role Overview
The Security Platform Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and operational excellence of enterprise security platforms that enable proactive threat detection, incident response, and managed security services. This role combines hands-on engineering with customer-facing delivery, taking ownership of security platform administration, client onboarding, solution integration, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement across multiple enterprise environments. Success in this role requires strong expertise in EDR,XDR, SIEM, Microsoft security technologies, and email security platforms, complemented by excellent communication skills in Portuguese and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain enterprise security platforms, including CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft 365 Security, Proofpoint, and SIEM solutions.
- Lead end-to-end client onboarding activities, including solution design, deployment, configuration, and validation.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Perform threat analysis, root cause analysis, and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
- Handle customer support tickets and escalations while consistently meeting SLA and customer expectations.
- Design and implement security monitoring, detection rules, dashboards, and automation to improve security operations.
- Collaborate with customers to understand security requirements and recommend best practices.
- Conduct platform health checks, upgrades, tuning, and ongoing optimization.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with SOC analysts, engineering teams, and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to internal teams and customers.

Requirements
Who You Are

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity platform administration and security engineering, preferably within an MSP/MSSP environment

Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft 365 Security, Proofpoint, and SIEM platforms (Elastic, Microsoft Sentinel,etc.).
- Proven experience in security incident investigation, threat analysisvand security platform administration.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security, identity security, email security, SIEM, detection engineering, and incident response.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and customer communication skills.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both Portuguese and Spanish (mandatory). English proficiency is also required.
