YOUR ROLE
As Customer Quality Manager to represent the customer on all quality-related topics, ensuring full compliance with quality targets, certifications, and customer-specific requirements. You will lead all quality communication, coordinate problem‑solving and continuous improvement initiatives, and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve performance and reduce PPM. You will lead the quality team at customer locations, prepare and support customer audits, monitor customer scorecards, and report quality performance and improvement needs to top management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet all customer quality targets
Assure all customer expected Certificates are update and valid
Lead all communication from / to customer on Quality performance issues
Coordinate Problems solving team
Lead quality team and all activities at customer location
Identify Customer continuous improvement programs for ppm reduction
Assure own certification is state of the art
Ensure the needed processes are established, implemented, maintained and improved
Always looking to improve the quality management system
Report to top management on any need for improvement
Corrective/Preventive Action results
Ensuring the promotion of awareness of customer requirements
Ensure customer satisfaction with the results of your products/services
Prepare manufacturing locations and accompany customer auditors in terms of customer audits
Customer representative for all quality topics from the customer. Make sure all quality requirements (incl. Customer Specific Requirements) are met and providing related trainings to the respective team.
Responsible for setting quality objectives and follow up on customer scorecards (access to customer portal)
YOUR BACKGROUND
Proven experience in quality management within a customer‑focused manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong exposure to customer audits, certifications, quality standards, and customer-specific requirements
Experience leading quality teams and coordinating cross‑functional problem‑solving, corrective and preventive actions
Solid knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to manage customer communication, monitor quality performance indicators, and report to top management
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s level)
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience within the automotive sector
Certified Auditor with formal training in Quality Management systems
Solid customer quality management experience with a strong customer‑oriented mindset
Ability to manage customer requirements, quality performance, and customer experience across manufacturing environments
