Located in the heart of Lisbon’s vibrant Baixa district, along the city’s main pedestrian street, Rua Augusta, the hotel is spread across five distinct buildings, including the former headquarters of one of Portugal’s major banks, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI).
The central building houses 170 guestrooms, while the four surrounding satellite buildings offer a selection of exclusive private suites. We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join the team at Andaz Lisbon! The ideal candidate will have a flair for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's standards and recipes.
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, such as grill, sauté, or pastry, ensuring smooth operations.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented beautifully.
- Assist in ordering and managing inventory for your station.
- Train and supervise commis kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu planning and development.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of special events and functions.
