Description
We are looking for a Network & Security Support Engineer. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the network and security infrastructure, including LAN/WLAN, SDWAN, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking solutions such as Azure. This role involves operational maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure seamless network performance and security across the organization.
Requirements

Proficiency in network protocols, LAN/WLAN, firewalls, and VPNs technologies
- Hands-on experience with Cisco/Meraki, Fortinet
- Knowledge of DNS/DHCP, IPAM (EfficientIP), and Proxy environments (Zscaler)
- Experience with network monitoring, incident troubleshooting, and lifecycle asset management
- Familiarity with programming languages like Ansible or Python is a plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to report status clearly
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and coordinate with third-party partners
Responsibilities

Patch management: Upgrade switches, wireless devices, and other network gear
- Manage VPN onboarding/offboarding and firewall rule updates
- VLAN assignment and port management based on IP plan and device nature
- Network Access Control, onboarding/offboarding of devices
- Monitor and maintain DHCP/DNS and DDI infrastructure
- Event management: Track and resolve network alerts across platforms
- Implement and enforce network security policies
- Perform regular updates/upgrades on network hardware and software
- Respond to security breaches and provide network-related technical support
- Collaborate with other IT teams and third-party partners to ensure network availability
- Review weekly backlog with Service Delivery Manager and provide data for monthly supplier reviews
- Maintain inventory, documentation, deployment checklists, and compliance trackers
- Participate in troubleshooting sessions and cut-over plans
Nice to have

Experience in network implementation: hardware/software configuration, racking, stacking, patching, labeling
- Knowledge of SDWAN, WAF, SASE, Azure networking
- Familiarity with Wireshark, CLI, and log analytics
- Ability to contribute to continuous improvement and global standards alignment
- Experience updating technical reference documents, diagrams, operational procedures, and CMDB
