Casa de Sada is looking for an experienced, organised and commercially minded Purchase Manager to oversee the hotel's purchasing and procurement operations, ensuring quality, efficiency and cost control across the business.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing the hotel's purchasing function, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
You will:
- Manage the hotel's purchasing and procurement activities across all departments.
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.
- Ensure all purchases are aligned with approved budgets, specifications and operational requirements.
- Monitor purchasing costs, market prices and opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Coordinate with Finance, F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering and other departments to understand purchasing needs.
- Oversee the purchasing cycle from requisition through to delivery and invoice reconciliation.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels and timely deliveries to support hotel operations.
- Monitor supplier performance and address quality, delivery or service issues.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Support inventory and cost control initiatives, helping to minimise waste and unnecessary expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton Brand Standards, hotel procedures and applicable regulations.
About You
- Proven experience in a Purchasing, Procurement or similar role, preferably within a five-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing, supplier management and negotiation.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost control.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with different departments.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.
- Proactive, analytical and solution-oriented approach.
- Good computer literacy; experience with hotel purchasing or inventory systems is an advantage.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; additional languages will be highly valued.
- Flexibility to support the operation according to business needs.
