Join Marley Spoon as our Pricing Manager and help shape pricing decisions across a global food-tech business, turning data, market insight, and commercial analysis into clear recommendations that support growth, margin, retention, and customer value.
Pricing is one of the most important levers in how Marley Spoon balances customer value, commercial performance, and sustainable growth. As we continue to evolve our global commercial strategy, this role will help bring more structure, insight, and consistency to pricing decisions across markets.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing & Pricing Intelligence and partner with teams across Marketing, Finance, Deployment, and other business areas to support smarter, more consistent pricing decisions across our global regions.
You’ll be the key pricing partner behind analysis, modelling, market monitoring, and recommendations that influence pricing, promotions, margin performance, and customer behaviour. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with data, but also wants to see their insights turn into practical commercial decisions.
Maintain and develop pricing models across all regions to determine optimal price points, ensuring inputs are accurate, structured, and commercially sound.
Track market trends and competitor pricing activity to identify risks and provide data-backed rate recommendations that inform internal pricing decisions.
Take ownership of the pricing optimization framework to support long-term commercial goals and deliver ongoing customer value.
Drive promotional strategy using A/B testing to identify the most effective discounts and incentives for customer retention.
Own spend forecasting for the promotional budget and take proactive measures to ensure financial targets are met.
Collaborate with Marketing and Deployment teams to ensure timely, accurate execution of pricing changes and promotional campaigns.
4+ years of experience in pricing, or a similar role with a strong pricing focus.
Strong understanding of pricing mechanics, margin drivers, promotions, discounting, customer behaviour, and the impact of pricing decisions on overall business performance.
Proven ability to work with data, identify trends, investigate performance changes, and translate analysis into practical recommendations.
Experience supporting pricing decisions, commercial planning, promotional analysis, or revenue optimisation in a fast-moving business environment.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, with experience using BI tools such Looker, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Structured and detail-oriented approach to analysis, reporting, pricing updates, and model maintenance.
