The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in information and communication technology, equipping students with essential digital literacy, computing, and problem-solving skills.
key Responsabilities:
-Improving quality of teaching & learning in ICT/Computer Science.
-Prepares and implements daily lessons aligned to the Cambridge International Curriculum;
-Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, ensuring high academic standards.
-Encourage student involvement in extra-curricular activities, literacy-based projects, and enrichment opportunities.
-Promoting a stimulating and inspiring learning environment that ensures the engagement of students within ICT/Computer Science.
-Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
-Maintain a positive classroom environment with high standards of behaviour and discipline.
Profile:
-Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field;
- Previous experience in classroom management;
-Fluency in English (spoken and written);
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with Cambridge programmes;
- People oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and a good team spirit;
- Kindness and a taste for working with children and teenagers;
- Believes in the capacity of each student to achieve at high levels;
- Good communication to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices.
- Non EU candidates must hold the required work permit.
