We are currently looking for a new member for the Sustainability Office team to join us in the position of Sustainability Services, Specialist.
Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Lisbon
Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or similar.
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Sustainability Area, preferably as a sustainability consultant or program/project management (namely in sustainability strategies definition and implementation)
Knowledge of all aspects of sustainability (ESG) and its correlation with the real estate industry (preferable)
Knowledge in building certification schemes (like BREEAM/LEED) (preferable)
Fluent in English (mandatory) and knowledge of other languages such as French, Spanish, Italian is desirable
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to coordinate projects/programmes that require input from multiple clients, colleagues and suppliers
Ability to manage clients expectations including on agreed scopes of work
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with ability to handle multiple projects/assignments simultaneously
Strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn more and a desire to work in a dynamic, dead-line driven team work environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Assist in the development, implementation, and evolution of Sustainability/ESG strategies for clients, including materiality assessment;
Assist in the development, benchmarking and implementation of objectives, targets and improvement programs for clients, including funds/portfolios;
Assist in the development of climate change risks assessments for clients;
Assist in the development and implementation of zero-carbon roadmaps for clients;
Lead regular follow-up meetings with clients;
Prepare and make presentations to clients to increase sustainability awareness and engagement;
Monitor sustainability and regulatory trends to ensuring best practice in Europe;
Participate in business development, namely in the preparation of pitches, marketing materials and relevant technical documents such as case studies, insights or benchmarking analysis;
Identify opportunities for innovation, service development and cross-selling services.
