We are a global manufacturer of industrial digital printing systems used for printing on labels, cardboard, paper (including jumbo rolls up to 10,000 meters).
Our equipment is installed in production environments worldwide and integrates advanced digital printing technology, automation, and industrial electronics. To support our growing international customer base, we are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Technical Support Team.
Position Summary/Objective
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of industrial printing equipment at customer sites worldwide. This role requires a combination of mechanical, electrical, and digital printing knowledge, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in industrial environments. The position involves international travel and direct interaction with customers, partners, and internal engineering teams.
Duties and Responsibilities

Install, commission, and configure industrial digital printing systems at customer facilities.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to printing systems, electronics, automation, and mechanical components.

Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades.

Troubleshoot electrical systems and read electrical schematics

Support customers remotely when possible and onsite when required

Train customers and operators on machine operation and maintenance

Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical problems

Document service activities and technical reports

Required Education and Experience

Technical degree or professional training in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

Experience with industrial equipment, printing systems, or automated production machinery.

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

Basic knowledge of Electronics, Automation systems, Industrial electrical systems

Understanding of digital printing technologies is a strong advantage

Hands-on troubleshooting skills in industrial environments

Fluency in Portuguese and English is Mandatory (written & spoken).
Additional Preferred Skills, Experience, and Certifications

Additional language proficiency in French, German, and/or Spanish a strong advantage
Physical Requirements

This position requires long periods of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, and bending. It requires manual dexterity and visual acuity. The role requires the ability to lift to 25lbs (11.34kg) regularly and up to 50lbs (22.68kg) occasionally.
Special Working Conditions / Travel Requirements
This job requires heavy travel including international travel throughout EMEA and occasional intercontinental travel to North America. Travel is typically Monday through Friday, but will vary based on business needs. A valid passport, and driver’s license with clean driving record is required.
