Context:
In the framework of a high-profile infrastructure project in Portugal, SYSTRA is looking for a MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) lead.
Missions/Main Duties:
The MEP Lead will oversee the MEP design for transportation infrastructure buildings. He/She will be based in Porto, Portugal.
Leadership & Coordination:

Lead the MEP engineering team in the design and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for transportation infrastructure buildings.

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive design integration.

Manage and mentor junior MEP engineers and provide technical guidance.
Design & Development:

Develop comprehensive MEP designs that meet project requirements, including sustainability and energy efficiency standards.

Review and approve MEP design plans, calculations, and specifications.

Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
Profile/Skills:
EDUCATION:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
-
Minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP engineering, with significant experience in the design and construction of train stations or similar infrastructure projects.

Proven track record of leading MEP teams and managin complex projects.
REQUIREMENTS:

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit) and project management tools.

Proficiency in English required, Fluency in Portuguese is a nice to have
