QC Analyst
Location: Alcochete/Setubal

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QC Analyst to join our growing team. In this key role, you will ensure the highest standards of quality throughout our production cycle, from visual assessment of cannabis plants to accurate laboratory analysis and strict regulatory compliance. You will play a vital part in supporting decision-making, maintaining product safety, and upholding the technical integrity of our laboratory processes.

Key Responsibilities
Perform in-process analysis following approved methods to support quality assurance and operational decisions
Assist with sampling activities for In-Process Control testing
Accurately record analytical data and promptly share results with Operations and Quality Assurance teams
Ensure all laboratory documentation and technical processes meet required standards
Manage laboratory resources effectively, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and service continuity
Draft and review relevant laboratory documentation and study reports
Prepare and coordinate sample shipments to external laboratories to meet reporting deadlines
Maintain accurate, up-to-date cannabis flower movement records as required by Infarmed
Train new team members on laboratory procedures, analysis techniques, and record-keeping practices
What We Are Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma in Science or Technology
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in visual inspection of cannabis plants and supporting production operations
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and cultural backgrounds
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proactive mindset with a collaborative and empathetic approach
Preferred Qualification:
- Previous experience working in an Analytical Chemistry laboratory environment
