Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis & Reporting: Maintain and adapt 3 statement consolidated financial models across the global group. Present detailed scenario analysis with strict focus on cash flow.
Commercial Duties: Play a key role in commercial decision-making, providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to analyze trends, manage pricing strategies, and assess the profitability of investments.
Financial Budgeting: Manage and oversee the budget-setting process. Liaise with other departments on a regular basis to ensure upcoming operating costs and sales performance are reported correctly on a timely basis.
Global Consolidation: Collect, analyze, and consolidate financial information from five different geographical entities. Ensure accurate representation of the company’s financial position on a global scale. Liaise with outsourced accounting functions in other jurisdictions.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with senior management at the corporate level, external stakeholders, and other departments. Present complex financial information in an understandable format to facilitate informed decision-making. Prepare financial collaterals to assist fundraising and other similar projects.
Operational Duties: Aid with corporate legal and secretarial functions across the group and provide commercial input on everything from marketing to corporate strategy

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Any other relevant professional certifications are a plus (MBA, etc.).
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry or high-growth global startups.
Legal and corporate investment experience.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills; extra languages a plus.
Fluent in English.
Portuguese is a plus.
