As a OP Guide – Outdoor Pursuit you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Experience.
What you will do?
- Proven experience in delivering professional, efficient, and high‑quality customer service, consistently exceeding member and guest expectations.
- Ability to provide genuine hospitality and take personal responsibility for the overall guest experience.
- Strong teamwork mindset, collaborating inclusively and maintaining positive relationships across all departments.
- Willingness to support colleagues during operations and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
- Competence in preparing, organizing, and delivering Outdoor Pursuits activities tailored to guest abilities and experience levels.
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards, ensuring proper and safe use of all equipment and activity areas.
- Experience in maintaining, repairing, and overseeing Outdoor Pursuits equipment, ensuring high standards of presentation and functionality.
- Ability to operate departmental vehicles (vans and golf carts) safely, following all protocols, with a valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work across different OP stations and assist with various operational tasks as needed.
- High level of professionalism, including punctuality, adherence to company policies, and active participation in training and staff meetings.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Outdoor pursuits industry
- Minimum 1 years of experience in 4–5-star resort setting or in the luxury related field
- Be proactive in daily set ups, pack downs and cleaning of all OP gear.
- Understanding of various activities offered by the Adventure Pursuit team; be able to discuss activities with guests and answer questions.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
- Ability to anticipate member and guest needs.
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
- Ability to remain flexible and patient when communicating with members, guests and staff.
