Working as an engineer
As a Sectra engineer, you are a technical expert who enables us to deliver products and services to our customers. You will be part of the Customer Operations department (Deployment or Support) and work closely with system engineers, project managers and application specialists to install, configure, integrate and support our solutions. You will develop a strong understanding of Hospital IT systems, communication and interoperability frameworks and standards that can be leveraged across the entire Health IT domain.
Your main responsibilities may include:
Installing, configuring and upgrading Sectra solutions
Planning and performing technical deployment activities
Communicating with the technical counterparts of our customers
Escalate, own, and remain focused on driving the resolution of issues through the appropriate channels and team members, using highly effective communication skills
Keep our customers happy and productive by acting professionally and, if necessary, taking the lead in maintaining, reporting and monitoring the health of our solutions
Provide remote diagnostic support for technical and end-user problems using the latest remote access technologies
Interface with third-party suppliers and subcontractors to facilitate the support of hardware solutions
Contribute in our efforts to provide and maintain a high service level for our existing customers

Skills & Requirements

Have a master’s, bachelor’s or equivalent degree in biomedical engineering, IT or equivalent with a strong academic performance
Have a genuine interest in IT and ability and willingness to learn more, especially in the area of healthcare
Be fluent written and verbal knowledge in English
Be, as a person, a strategic doer, driven by a will to succeed with our targets and to make an impact
Have the availability to travel to customer sites as needed, this incluedes Portugal, Spain, Saudi Arabia, etc.
Have a strong organizational, social and communication skills
We consider it a great asset if you:
Speak more languages, mainly Spanish
Have interests besides work, such as sports, music or anything else that makes you stand out from the crowd
Have experience with other cultures
Have knowledge on operating systems, virtualization, databases, networking, clustering, storage or hardware
Have knowledge on PACS technologies as well as medical imaging workflow, or tools and standards around HL7, DICOM or IHE
Our offering:
We offer a base salary of 19.600 - 22.400 Euros, depending on the experience and fit to our skills requirements, plus other potential benefits, like meal allowance, healthcare insurance, fitness activity allowance, yearly bonus and LTIP.
Other information:
We aim for you to join us in this role starting in September/October 2026.
