UBSI Europe is expanding its presence in the European market and is looking for a senior, results-driven professional to lead the development of its bus and passenger transport business.
This is a key commercial role focused on market penetration, strategic account development, and long-term growth, across public transport, private operators, and tourism sectors.
The position is ideal for a candidate who combines strong commercial capabilities with deep industry understanding and who is motivated to build and grow business activity in a dynamic and evolving market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the public transport, private fleet, and tourism sectors
- Lead commercial processes including tenders, RFQs, and long-term agreements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with transport operators, authorities, and key clients
- Promote the company’s full offering: buses, transport solutions, and after-sales services
- Manage the full sales cycle: from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and deal closure
- Develop and manage a structured and high-quality sales pipeline
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, after-sales, finance, logistics) to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction
- Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and business meetings
Requirements
- Proven experience in bus sales, commercial vehicles, or passenger transport sector
- Strong knowledge of fleet sales processes and tender environments
- Fluent English (spoken and written) – mandatory
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commercial mindset with a strong customer-oriented approach
- Ability to build long-term business relationships
- Independent, structured, and results-driven
- Proficiency in CRM / ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Availability to travel frequently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in public transport projects or mobility solutions
- Background in field sales and direct client engagement
- Knowledge of the European transport market
