Do you want to steer AI programmes that impact millions of parcels—and customers—across Europe every day?
Can you translate an ambitious Group‑wide AI strategy into delivered value across ~20 countries?
Are you ready to help define what “AI at scale” truly means for one of Europe’s leading logistics networks?
As a Programme Manager – Agentic AI, you own the end‑to‑end orchestration of our Agentic AI initiative—ensuring the right use cases are prioritized, the right stakeholders are engaged, and delivery progresses effectively across central teams, AI Hubs, Group Areas and countries. You will initially drive delivery centrally and, over time, build capabilities within domains to enable greater local ownership and execution.
This is a hands‑on role with strategic impact, working closely with the Group AI leadership team, domain leads, and process analysts and partners embedded in the countries, while collaborating with Group IT and Data Protection to ensure safe, secure, and compliant implementation of AI solutions across the Group.
Your office will be located in Venda do Pinheiro, Lisbon.
You will:
- Manage the pipeline of AI use cases across various domains, Group Areas and countries
- Support countries in building local business cases and translating them into deliverable scope
- Deploy and steer process analysts to map processes and drive agent-first redesign
- Coordinate the handover from process redesign into agent build, working with our AI experts and the Agentic Platform team
- Allocate resources, remove bottlenecks, and keep delivery cycles short
- Build domain capabilities so countries progressively shift from central delivery to self-service
- Track progress, value realization and risks; report to Group steering
- Collaborating closely with Group IT and Data Protection to ensure safe, compliant implementation of AI solutions across the Group
You have:
- A strong track record of driving complex, cross‑country programmes—ideally in transformation, digital, or AI contexts—and turning ambition into delivered results
- The versatility to engage confidently with executive leaders, while also rolling up your sleeves to work hands‑on with country teams on process design and change
- 5+ years of experience in programme or portfolio management, transformation roles, or top‑tier consulting, with clear ownership from strategy through to execution and value realisation
- Experience leading digital, automation, or AI initiatives end‑to‑end, including prioritisation, delivery coordination, and benefits tracking
- A solid, practical understanding of Agentic AI, GenAI, or intelligent automation—enough to challenge ideas, ask the right questions, and make credible trade‑offs
- A strong foundation in process mapping and redesign (e.g. LEAN, Six Sigma, BPMN) and a clear view of how processes translate into automation and AI solutions
- Experience deploying and steering analysts or consulting partners across multiple countries and cultural contexts
- Excellent stakeholder skills—you can build trust and momentum with executives, country MDs, IT leaders, and operational teams alike
- A pragmatic, outcome‑driven mindset: you thrive in ambiguity, stay focused on delivery, and make progress without relying on formal authority
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
Nice to have
- Experience working in a federated, multi‑country environment (e.g. logistics, retail, financial services), particularly in a PMO or central delivery role
- Familiarity with AI governance and regulation, such as the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, or similar frameworks
- Exposure to data platforms and MLOps topics, including model deployment and governance tooling
