Job Summary
We are looking for an Purchasing Manager.The role will evolve in line with the company's needs, requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on operational experience, and reports directly to the company's Management. This is an individual contributor role, with no direct reports: the Purchasing Manager is expected to personally execute the day-to-day purchasing operations, alongside the strategic responsibilities of the function
Responsibilities:
- Defining and implementing the company's purchasing strategy.
- Securing competitive supplier terms through negotiation and supplier evaluation.
- Leading BOM analysis and optimisation to improve cost competitiveness.
- Ensuring purchase requests and raw material deliveries meet required deadlines.
- Defining and monitoring purchasing and logistics KPIs.
- Personally, executing day-to-day purchasing operations, given the absence of direct reports.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach; strong ownership and autonomy, comfortable operating without a support team.
- Negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, with transversal experience across the whole Purchasing function.
- Knowledge of PHC Management Software (an advantage).
- Fluent in English (essential).
- Proficient in MS Office (essential).
- Immediate availability (an advantage).
