Your role
As a Shift Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include:
Safety:
Ensure that all equipment and work tools in your UAP are in perfect safety conditions and report any anomalies.
Maintain a proactive attitude in promoting safety within the sector under your responsibility, ensuring the involvement of the UAP team.
External Contacts:
Communicate with external entities in case of incidents (e.g., INEM). Record any employee departures that occur during the night shift.
Communication with Teams:
Assist shift coordinators in managing and organizing human resources and equipment during the night shift.
Report to the production manager any positive and/or negative events that occur during the workday, preparing a daily report.
Contribute to maintaining a good social environment and employee engagement through information, communication, and participation, particularly during team meetings.
Organizational Support:
Support island leaders in developing skill levels and versatility by identifying training needs.
Contribute to maintaining a positive social climate and staff engagement through information, communication, and participation.
Conduct return-to-work interviews (absenteeism and illness) after employee absences.
Standards Control:
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and organizational standards through 5S, Multilevel, and Safety audits.
Ensure adherence to the parameters defined in production labels and RIP, monitoring whether equipment adjustments (Presses, Cryotors, Autoclaves, Ovens) are correctly performed.
Act as a link between support services (Logistics, Maintenance, Quality) and Production to avoid or minimize downtime.
Based on established production targets, take the necessary measures to ensure compliance with production plans and the quality of parts produced by the UAPs, in the absence of the team coordinator.
Monitor compliance with the Kanban flow.
To ensure proper information transfer to the teams, the Supervisor should regularly spend one of their workdays alongside the day-shift teams.
Your profile
Required Skills
Minimum 12th grade education or equivalent.
Professional experience in Supervisory/Leadership roles within the industrial sector.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
Knowledge of 5S and standardization tools.
Availability to work night shifts.
