The position involves close collaboration with development, infrastructure, product, and business teams. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to monitoring, automation, problem management, application upgrades, and operational processes.
The role is particularly suited to professionals with strong experience supporting applications hosted in Windows environments, although knowledge of Linux systems is also required.
Applications are supported through a rotating schedule designed to provide coverage to a global user base. Depending on the rotation, shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM or extend until 7:00 PM. Participation in an on-call rotation for critical applications is also required.

- Develop scripts and automation solutions using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to reduce manual activities and improve operational efficiency.
- Support and maintain applications hosted primarily in Windows environments, while also working with Linux-based systems.
- Manage and troubleshoot application servers and web technologies, including IIS, Apache, and HAProxy.
- Support middleware components and API integrations using Axway API Gateway.
- Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled jobs and batch-processing workflows using Control-M.
- Use ServiceNow and Jira to register, track, document, and manage incidents, problems, changes, and service requests.
- Participate in deployment, release, and change-management activities using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, XL Deploy, and XL Release.
- Contribute to cloud-based and hybrid environments using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Support infrastructure and application automation initiatives using Terraform and OpenShift.
- Lead or contribute to small and medium-sized operational projects, including application upgrades, infrastructure changes, automation initiatives, new application rollouts, and feature deployments.
- Produce and maintain clear operational documentation, including runbooks, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-base articles.
- Ensure effective communication and seamless handover of open incidents and operational topics between shifts.
- Mentor junior support engineers and promote knowledge sharing and operational best practices.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide support for critical production applications.
PROFILE & SKILLS
