Clarity International School is looking for a warm, dedicated, and creative Primary Teacher to join our international team in Oeiras, Lisbon.
We are searching for a teacher who genuinely enjoys working with children and believes that education should be engaging, personal, and inspiring. The role involves teaching the Cambridge Curriculum in English to children aged 6-11 in a small-group international learning environment.
An important part of this role is the ability to confidently teach Music lessons and integrate music into school life and classroom activities.
What you'll do
- Deliver engaging Cambridge Curriculum lessons in English (4-6 lessons per day: English, Math, Science, etc.)
- Teach Music classes and support creative, performance-based activities
- Work with children individually and in small groups (4-12 students per class)
- Adapt teaching methods to support different learning styles and needs
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents
- Accompany students throughout the school day, including outdoor activities, meals, and supervised self-study time
- Participate actively in school life: pedagogical meetings, team meetings, events, and Zoom calls
- Help create a positive, supportive, and international learning environment
Ideal candidate
- Fluent English speaker
- Strong ability and confidence in teaching Music is essential
- Passionate about primary education and child development
- Creative, adaptable, patient, and energetic
- Experience teaching Primary age children is essential
- Experience with the Cambridge Curriculum is desirable
