We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst to join a specialised Test Centre supporting international insurance and financial-services projects.
You will participate in the complete testing lifecycle, from test design and planning to execution, defect management, reporting, and final validation. The team follows a mature and proven test methodology and supports key business areas such as Savings and Protection.

Test Design and Planning

Contribute to the design of business and functional tests within assigned projects.

Ensure that test activities are aligned with the project design and expected deliverables.

Define test subjects and register them in the appropriate test-management tool.

Prepare, validate, and communicate all testing deliverables within your scope.

Build and maintain test schedules.
-
Prioritise test activities according to business impact, dependencies, risks, and deadlines.

Contribute to the organisation and continuous improvement of testing knowledge and practices.

Apply the testing procedures, standards, and methodologies defined by the department.
Test Execution
-
Execute functional tests within your assigned scope.

Register test results accurately in the appropriate tool.

Provide the necessary information to support Go/No-Go decisions.

Monitor testing progress and communicate updates to the Test Lead and direct management.

Identify and report risks related to deadlines, quality, scope, or delivery commitments.

Ensure that testing evidence is complete, traceable, and compliant with established standards.
Defect Management
-
Identify and document application defects.
-
Register anomalies in the appropriate defect-management tool.
-
Contribute to defect analysis and prioritisation.

Collaborate with technical and functional teams during defect resolution.

Perform retesting and regression testing following corrections.

Validate that reported anomalies have been resolved correctly.

Provide the information required for final test reports and operating procedures.
Coordination and Communication

Collaborate with Test Leads, Business Analysts, developers, and project stakeholders.

Support the coordination of testing activities within the assigned scope.

Communicate risks, blockers, dependencies, and progress clearly.

Participate in testing workshops and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Promote quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with internal procedures.

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

At least three years of professional experience in software-testing activities.

Strong understanding of testing methodologies, principles, and terminology.

Knowledge of ISTQB practices or equivalent testing standards.

Experience designing, planning, and executing functional tests.

Ability to build and manage a test schedule.

Experience documenting test cases, results, evidence, and defects.

Ability to identify, assess, monitor, and communicate project risks.

Experience supporting defect prioritisation, correction, retesting, and validation.

Knowledge of SAS.

Experience with Control-M or another workload-automation and scheduling tool.

The ideal candidate is a structured and detail-oriented Test Analyst with solid experience in functional testing and a strong understanding of the full testing lifecycle.
You can independently design and execute tests, manage defects, identify risks, maintain clear documentation, and provide reliable information for Go/No-Go decisions. You are comfortable working with established methodologies while remaining adaptable when priorities or requirements change.
You communicate effectively in French, collaborate well with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain high standards of quality even under demanding deadlines. Experience with Octane, SQL, APIs, insurance, or banking applications will be particularly valuable.
