You will join an international Application Production Support environment responsible for infrastructure foundations—including servers, storage, networks, middleware, cloud platforms, and production application deployments.
Acting as both a technical authority and infrastructure project manager, you will design and implement hosting solutions for business applications, coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, manage project governance, and prepare reliable transitions into production.
You will also support the adoption of DevOps, Agile practices, cloud technologies, automation, observability, and modern operational methods.
Technical Project Management

Take end-to-end responsibility for delivering IT and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure project objectives are achieved according to business commitments, strategic priorities, governance processes, and sponsor expectations.
- Define project plans, methodologies, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate all technical teams, contributors, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned IT projects.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, costs, and resource consumption.
- Anticipate project risks and define appropriate mitigation plans.
- Provide regular project reporting to IT, production, and business management.
- Establish and coordinate validation, monitoring, and steering committees.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical and infrastructure requirements.
Application Production and L3 Support

Provide technical expertise for Level 3 application production support.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of applications in production environments.
- Design and implement technical architectures for business applications.
- Prepare and coordinate the transition of new solutions into production.
- Ensure operational teams have the knowledge, documentation, and autonomy required to maintain services.
- Define and validate production-support SLAs and operational KPIs.
- Coordinate production operations outside standard working hours when required.
- Support incident investigation, problem resolution, and service restoration.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, availability, security, and resilience requirements.
Cloud, DevOps and Infrastructure Transformation

Ensure cloud technologies are considered systematically within project architectures.
- Support cloud migration and Move-to-Cloud initiatives.
- Contribute to the adoption of DevOps and Agile working practices.
- Promote automation across development, testing, deployment, and operational processes.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, containers, orchestration platforms, and infrastructure automation.
- Contribute to monitoring, observability, and production-performance improvements.
- Coordinate with FinOps, decommissioning, security, and obsolescence-management teams.
- Identify infrastructure and application components requiring modernisation or retirement.
- Ensure decommissioning costs and activities are included in project planning.
- Improve technical resilience and reduce operational dependencies.
- Identify opportunities for standardisation, reuse, and optimisation across projects.

At least six years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, application production, technical project management, or production engineering.
- Proven experience providing Level 3 production support.
- Strong technical project-management capabilities.
- Ability to manage IT projects from planning through production transition.
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture, and production processes.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and contributors.
- Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies.
- Experience establishing project governance and producing management reporting.
- Strong Linux knowledge.
- Experience with middleware and databases, particularly WebSphere and Oracle.
- Knowledge of Autosys and CFT file-transfer solutions.
- Experience with monitoring and observability practices.
- Hands-on knowledge of monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure Pipelines.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Ansible or comparable automation technologies.
- Understanding of application resilience, infrastructure obsolescence, and decommissioning.
