Are intended for carrying out R&D activities by students enrolled in an integrated master's or a master's degree, aiming to consolidate their scientific training through the development of research work leading to the respective academic degree, whether or not integrated into R&D projects.
Are intended for carrying out R&D activities by graduates enrolled in non-degree courses that are part of the educational programme of a higher education institution, developed in association or cooperation with one or more R&D units.
In order for the candidate to be admitted to this call, the following requirements are mandatory: 1) Candidates must be enrolled in a master's, integrated master's, or in a non-conferring academic degree course in the area of computer and telematics engineering. 2) Knowledge in telecommunications, great-motivation, and ability for teamwork. 3) Written and spoken Portuguese. 4) The candidate needs to have proven experience with the deployment, usage, development and integration of OpenCAPIF.
Work Objectives:
The objective of this work is to integrate CAPIF procedures into an elaborate deployment set of use cases involving advanced 6G mechanisms for communication provisioning in a real vertical environment. The work involved getting acquainted with the different applications that interact with the network and the vertical assets and having them interoperate via CAPIF.

Fellowship Regulation of Fundação para Ciência e Tecnologia. Place of work:
The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações at University of Aveiro, under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Nunes Corujo.
Duration:
4 months, with the possibility of renewal. This type of scholarship has a maximum duration of 2 years. Start date: July 2026 or soon thereafter.
Monthly salary:
Monthly salary: 1090.98€ according to the table of grant amounts awarded directly by FCT for positions held in Portugal (www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores ). The payment will be made by bank transfer.
