We are looking for a detail-oriented Web Content Management Consultant to join a large-scale digital content migration and portal modernization project.
You will support the migration, organization, and validation of content from existing web portals to a new Umbraco-based platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with structured digital content, ensuring accuracy, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
The role focuses on the manual migration and validation of web content, including text, images, documents, articles, and other digital assets.
The project covers the migration and validation of:

International market pages;
-
Digital and physical marketplace content;
-
Articles and informational content;
-
Approximately 256 pages and subpages;
-
Approximately 73 articles;
-
7 different content types within the target platform.

Analyze content available on existing web platforms;
-
Create and update pages within the Umbraco CMS;
-
Manually migrate text, images, documents, and other digital assets;
-
Replicate content accurately according to the structure of the new portal;
-
Apply the correct components, modules, templates, and page layouts;
-
Perform functional and content validation on a page-by-page basis;
-
Ensure consistency, accuracy, readability, and overall content quality;
-
Track migration progress using Excel or the project’s designated tools;
-
Collaborate with functional, content, and portal teams during validation and publication;
-
Identify, document, and report inconsistencies or required corrective actions;
-
Follow the project’s content migration, governance, and quality guidelines.

At least 3 years of relevant professional experience;
-
Professional proficiency in both English and Portuguese;
-
Experience in web content management, editing, publishing, or content administration;
-
Hands-on experience with CMS platforms, ideally Umbraco or an equivalent solution;
-
Ability to manage and validate large volumes of structured web content;
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to information accuracy;
-
Basic knowledge of HTML;
-
Familiarity with browser inspection or web page inspection tools;
-
Experience using Excel or similar tools to organize, monitor, and report activities;
-
Ability to work independently and meet quality and delivery targets;
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills;

Availability to work from the Lisbon office 3 days per week.

Previous experience in web portal migration, redesign, or modernization projects;

Practical experience with Umbraco CMS;

Knowledge of digital publishing and web content management best practices;

Familiarity with digital accessibility concepts;

Understanding of web content quality and consistency standards;

Experience using Artificial Intelligence tools to support documentation, analysis, quality assurance, or productivity.

It does not involve:

Development of migration scripts;

Platform integrations;

Drupal development;

Back-end development;

Custom development of Umbraco components.
The work consists primarily of manually transferring, organizing, reviewing, and validating content within the Umbraco platform according to the project’s functional guidelines.
