We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, reliability, and platform security.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Manage, evolve, and optimize Cloud and SaaS environments (Azure, GCP, CloudAMQP, MongoDB Atlas), as well as Kubernetes environments and on-premises services.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and services.
- Implement and maintain GitOps practices for infrastructure and application management.
- Administer and enhance the GitLab platform (SCM, CI/CD, runners, registry, and permissions).
- Ensure system high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment, testing, and observability practices.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including access management, secrets management, and compliance.
- Monitor systems, applications, and pipelines, proactively addressing incidents.
- Document architectures, processes, and operational procedures.
- Support the definition and evolution of the platform’s technical architecture.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
- Experience with version control systems (SCM / Git).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and OpenTelemetry tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, ELK/EFK, Datadog, etc.).
- Understanding of DNS management/deployment, load balancing, proxies, gateways, and certificates.
- Knowledge of load testing tools (K6.io, JMeter).
- Basic knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL/SQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB).
- Basic networking and security knowledge.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days a week at the Lisbon office).
