Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As a key member in our Business Technology team within Corporate Cyber Security & Privacy, you’ll act as a trusted subject matter expert for secure software engineering, advising engineering teams on the secure design, implementation, and operation of software systems.

Define and establish software engineering–related security controls that reflect current threats, technologies, and industry best practices

Establish and implement consistent secure coding standards and industry best practices across Infineon departments

Shape the strategy to address increased development speed and emerging threats related to agentic AI

Lead and facilitate risk assessments, threat modelling, and secure design reviews for business-critical applications and platforms

Partner with architects and engineering leads to translate security controls into functional and non-functional requirements

Influence and challenge architectural and design decisions by balancing security risk, business value, and engineering feasibility

Drive the implementation of DevSecOps practices, including automation of security testing, policy-as-code, and secure CI/CD pipelines

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Security or related field of study
- Deep expertise in secure software engineering and application security, with familiarity with modern web frameworks and their built-in security features
- Strong knowledge of security controls in development and build environments (source code management, artifact repositories, pipeline security) and familiarity with DevSecOps patterns, tools, and best practices, including secure CI/CD pipeline design, automated security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning), and secrets management
- Advanced knowledge of secure application and system design, including IAM concepts, session management, API security, and service-to-service communication – with proven experience applying secure design and engineering frameworks such as OWASP ASVS and OWASP SAMM
- Hands-on experience in software development life cycle (software development, testing, integration, deployment, and operations) enabling credible engagement with engineering teams; experience with security testing is a plus
- Ability to review code, designs, and pipelines from a security engineering perspective
- Experience in cybersecurity risk assessments and threat modeling (e.g., STRIDE) for software-intensive systems, and aligning engineering security controls with enterprise risk, compliance, and audit expectations
- Familiarity with agentic AI and LLM-assisted coding technologies
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
