Main Tasks
- Contribute to software development solutions following industry standards and best practices
- Participate in technical design activities according to functional and platform requirements
- Support software architecture definition and application design in collaboration with architecture teams
- Develop, optimize, and maintain Python-based applications and solutions
- Provide technical expertise in Python, code optimization, and library/framework recommendations
- Participate in technical meetings to discuss requirements, standards, and solution improvements
- Contribute to development industrialization, including clean code, design patterns, DevOps practices, and testing strategies
- Conduct Scrum ceremonies and support agile rituals within the squad
- Manage sprint activities, facilitate collaboration, and remove blockers for the development team
- Support Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Core Teams in project delivery
- Ensure onboarding and technical support for new team members
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote effective communication and a collaborative team environment
Your Profile & Technical Skills
- Strong experience in enterprise software development and software engineering environments
- Advanced expertise in Python (3.9+) and its ecosystem, including frameworks and development tools
- Strong knowledge of computational and data manipulation libraries such as NumPy and Pandas
- Experience with performance optimization and parallelization technologies such as Dask, Spark, GPU optimization, Cuda, and Cupy
- Expertise in software industrialization practices including Design Patterns, TDD, clean code, and development standards
- Good understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD environments (Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, Artifactory, Hashicorp Vault, Jfrog)
- Knowledge of code quality and security tools such as Fortify, Nexus IQ, and Sonarqube
- Experience working with databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Netezza
- Familiarity with file management and cloud storage technologies such as S3, Boto3, IBM COS, and Minio
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Experience in Data Engineering, data quality, data exploration, and data manipulation
- Ability to challenge stakeholders and contribute to technical and functional decision-making
- Strong communication and teamwork skills within agile environments
- Fluent in English; French is considered a plus
- Availability to travel within and outside Portugal when required
