Own Tier 3 and Tier 4 escalations, including root cause analysis, problem elimination, and operational decision-making during major incidents
Lead and govern changes such as upgrades, patching, and planned works, ensuring documentation quality and CMDB alignment
Continuously improve and maintain operational runbooks and procedures
Coordinate closely with Service Desk, SOC, EDP network teams, and external vendors or operators to restore services and prevent recurrence
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, API usage, scripted diagnostics, and intent-based changes
Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure operational stability across global network domains
Deep engineering expertise across MS NOC domains: WAN / SD-WAN, LAN / Wi‑Fi, perimeter security, cloud interconnects, and data centers
Advanced routing and traffic engineering skills, including BGP concepts such as inbound/outbound influence, stability monitoring, and route anomaly analysis
Strong experience with SD-WAN operations and orchestration, including controller and control-plane troubleshooting, policy and QoS tuning, and ZTP troubleshooting
Solid understanding of hybrid cloud networking, including ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Virtual WAN, and cloud routing and security constructs
Advanced proficiency with operational tooling, monitoring, and observability platforms such as ServiceNow, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Grafana, Splunk or Elasticsearch
Experience with knowledge and network management tools including Confluence, Cisco Catalyst Center, and phpIPAM
