Casa de Sada is looking for a friendly, professional and service-oriented Porter to join our Front Office team.
As part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, you will play an important role in creating exceptional first and last impressions for our guests by delivering a warm welcome, assisting with luggage and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.
The Role
You will be responsible for providing courteous and efficient assistance to guests while supporting the Front Office team in delivering exceptional service.
You will:
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with luggage to and from their rooms.
- Escort guests to their accommodation and provide information about the hotel's facilities and services.
- Assist with guest departures, luggage storage and transportation arrangements.
- Respond promptly to guest requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Deliver messages, amenities and other items to guest rooms when required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel entrance, lobby and luggage storage areas.
- Assist in coordinating taxis, valet parking and guest transportation services.
- Support the Front Office team in ensuring a smooth and efficient guest journey.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton Brand Standards and hotel procedures.
- Promote a welcoming, safe and professional environment for all guests.
About You
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Physically fit and able to handle luggage safely.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to support the wider Front Office team.
- Fluent in Portuguese; a good command of English is essential. Additional languages will be highly valued.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
