What we are looking for..
Due to our continued expansion, we are looking for Test Engineers to join our team in Porto.
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with the software and product teams to validate the quality and performance of software, predominantly during the pre-release and release cycles of development.

We welcome applications from candidates based in Porto, Portugal.
This is an office-based vacancy and as such we expect all applicants to be willing to commute to our offices a minimum of 3-4 days per week as per our hybrid working policy.
Key responsibilities of the role...
Plan
- Create and Maintain detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers, change engineers and product managers) to understand release schedules, and the level of need for testing.
Test
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Perform usability and locale based testing on interfaces within a pre-production environment.
Resolve and Document
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and resolve issues.
Produce training documentation/guidance as required to avoid recurrence of defects/issues identified in the QA process.
Improve
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tolls and test strategies
- Regularly review and devise improved process, testing tools/systems.
About you...
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, desired.
- Good experience working in software development.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, and processes.
- A keen interest in technology, with a focus on delivering quality.
- Able to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans/cases/reports.
- Good communication skills, able to convey technical information clearly.
- Good organisation skills and time management.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent IT/computer literacy.
