As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide essential engineering support for low‑voltage (LV) and medium‑voltage (MV) electrical systems across plant modifications, capital projects, and shutdown activities in an industrial environment. This role combines design, review, and site support activities, ensuring electrical systems are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose throughout the project lifecycle.
You can expect to work closely with project teams, operations, maintenance, and external contractors, contributing your technical expertise to electrical design deliverables and field execution. The role requires a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, applicable standards, and safety practices, as well as the ability to critically review documentation and identify gaps or risks early.
This position is well suited to engineers who enjoy structured electrical design work, technical problem‑solving, and supporting complex industrial operations in demanding environments.
- Engineering support for LV and MV electrical systems during projects, plant modifications, and shutdowns
- Preparation and review of electrical design documentation, including single-line diagrams, cable schedules, load lists, MCCs, and distribution boards
- Technical input to earthing and grounding system design and verification
- Review of contractor and vendor documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements and internal specifications
- Application of IEC standards and recognized industrial electrical safety practices
- Interface with other engineering disciplines, construction, and site teams to support safe execution
- Technical assistance during installation, testing, and commissioning phases as required
