The Role & Candidate:
Glanua Ltd is a progressive organisation in the water and wastewater industry. Due to continued success in the Business, the company is expanding with several dynamic and exciting roles. They seek a BIM Coordinator to work on large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role will be split between the site and the office based in Reading.
The Digital coordinator's primary focus is coordinating design deliverables to ensure the successful delivery of our client requirements throughout all project phases. The role will be based in our Sheffield office.
You will be required to quickly integrate with the site team to report on the project's progress & verify that project deliverables are being captured and recorded correctly in compliance with our client's requirements.
The successful candidate will work within the Glanua digital delivery team to consistently achieve quality deliverables across our project portfolio. They must monitor the quality of information shared on the project CDE, ensuring all deliverables comply with our BEP. They must ensure all project stakeholders align with Glanua 's digital delivery strategy. They will report on non-conformance and offer corrective guidance to the project team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the BIM Coordinator are outlined as follows:
During the design phase, ensure models are developed in line with the project BEP and Clients' EIR. They will monitor the development of information through the design stage and into construction, continually coordinating multi-discipline 3D models, ensuring the potential for onsite clashes and rework are removed before commencement on site.
During Design stage
Work with the Digital Lead, Design Manager, and Discipline Leads to ensure that all design deliverables are achieved on time and of the highest quality.
Oversee the production of multi-discipline models and drawings using Autodesk Revit in compliance with project-specific requirements.
Ensure the models are developed so they provide information for downstream processes.
Check model coordination throughout all phases of the project.
Track clashes and communicate them to the project design lead through accurate reporting.
Maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) during the project.
Ensure TIDPs, MIDPs & associated Responsibility Matrix are in place at the start of each project.
Manage the project CDE to ensure the folder structure, workflows, reviews, and user permissions are correctly aligned with our company SOP.
During Construction stage
Ensure constant communication between the office and site is maintained.
Ensure all site activity is always captured and available on the CDE.
Ensure the model matches site progress and is modified to suit site changes.
Ensure the efficient capture of all project-related data using Digital tools and software provided.
Continually update the client's asset information model throughout the construction phase as information becomes available.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
The prior knowledge, skills and experience required of the BIM Coordinator are outlined as follows:
A third-level qualification in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Construction Management or a proven technical background is essential.
Advanced skills in any/all the following are preferable: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit, Dynamo, Plant 3D, Synchro 4D or Navisworks.
Experience in MS Excel, Power BI, Dynamo and BIM/ACC 360 are desired but not essential as training can be provided.
Must be an enthusiastic, motivated self-starter dedicated to learning and advancing their career in the Digital Engineering space.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
Enjoy working both individually and as part of a multi-discipline team essential.
Understanding how to communicate potential coordination issues to the design leads is essential.
Understanding the relevant Digital/BIM standards (ISO19650 or previously PAS1192) is desired but not essential.
