Position: SAP MM Functional Consultant
Location: Porto, Portugal | Hybrid – 2 to 3 times per month in the office
Main responsibilities:
- Cloud best practices & clean-core; stable P2P/IM ops across MMEWMFILogistics; own functional specs for gaps & integrations.
- Ensure expertise is accounted for in procurement level group reporting analytics related to Procurement and relevant cross functional integrations such as Inbound logistics analysis and workshop analysis.
- Govern master data quality (Material, BP/Vendor, Purchasing Info Records) and posting integrity to FI/CO.
- Ensure MM EWM process stability (inbound, putaway, picking, HU, PI) and monitor key integration queues/errors.
- Define functional specifications for CPI/BTP integrations (OData/SOAP), including error-handling and retry logic.
- Coordinate test cycles (Unit, SIT, UAT) for P2P/IM/EWM with clear entry/exit criteria and defect triage.
- F2S + CBC config; collaborate with BTP/CPI for APIs & payloads; lead Unit/SIT/UAT E2E scenarios.
- Drive training & enablement (desk procedures, WI/SOPs, quick reference guides) for buyers, storekeepers, and controllers.
- Partner with Finance for GR/IR reconciliation, price variances, and valuation class governance.
- Configure scope items (MM/EWM) with traceability to requirements and test evidence.
- Create end-to-end process flows (P2P, IM, EWM) with integration swimlanes and exception paths.
- Prepare release notes and business impact memos per quarterly upgrade.
- Deliver data quality dashboards (open POs, blocked invoices, stock differences, negative stocks).
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven experience as an SAP MM Functional Consultant.
- Working knowledge of SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) for MM/EWM scope.
- Hands-on with Output Management, Message Determination, Print Forms (Adobe).
- Proficiency in Fiori apps for MM/EWM and OData/SOAP API consumption patterns with CPI.
- Familiarity with Event-based integrations (where available) and error monitoring (APIs/Message Queues).
- Spend analytics, price variance, supplier performance and lead-time analysis.
- Group reporting impact for procurement costs; landed cost analysis with logistics inputs.
- Warehouse productivity analysis (lines/hour, picks/hour) and inventory health (slow movers, dead stock).
- Strong workshop facilitation skills for cross-functional (Procurement, Logistics, Finance) design sessions.
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
