We're looking for a Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our global delivery team in a fully remote working mode. In this role, you will lead initiatives to design, optimize, and automate AWS infrastructure supporting critical platforms for a leading global financial market infrastructure provider. You will work at the intersection of cloud engineering and DevOps, building secure, scalable environments while improving CI/CD automation, monitoring, and performance. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows for various application landscapes and maximize process automation
- Design and execute AWS workload migrations ensuring scalable and secure deployments
- Build and manage AWS environments leveraging services like EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, and Lambda
- Define and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices using tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Support cross-functional teams in implementing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and operational best practices
- Establish proactive monitoring, alerting, and optimization strategies using AWS CloudWatch or third-party tools
- Ensure solutions follow security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, and network isolation measures
- Fine-tune architectures for cost, performance, and operational resilience
- Oversee release processes ensuring smooth deployments with zero-downtime principles
- Drive automation initiatives for operational efficiency and application reliability
Requirements

5+ years of experience designing and supporting scalable AWS cloud environments in production
- Strong knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, VPC, IAM, and API Gateway
- Expertise in AWS networking (VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect, Load Balancers) and security frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell) for automation
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and cost optimization strategies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with global teams
- English proficiency B2 level or higher

- Exposure to AI-driven automation and coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode)
