The Brand Manager is responsible for driving the successful performance of assigned product(s) by leading the development and execution of the local brand strategy and Integrated Customer Plan (ICP), in close collaboration with MIDIc and the local cross-functional brand team. The role is accountable for achieving sales and market share objectives, managing the promotional budget, ensuring launch excellence, and delivering customer-centric activation plans aligned with evolving market needs.
The Brand Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Customer Facing Functions, Communications, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of brand strategy and Go-to-Market initiatives. The role also drives customer engagement excellence by leveraging insights, digital channels, and multichannel approaches to optimize marketing effectiveness and strengthen partnerships with healthcare professionals.
This position is based in Lisbon (Portugal) and reports directly to the Head of Therapeutic Area ILD (Portugal).

- Lead the local cross-functional brand team and drive execution of the brand strategy and Integrated Customer Plan (ICP).
- Ensure successful launch readiness and implementation of new products and indications.
- Adapt regional brand plans to local market needs and execute customer-centric activation plans.
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Communications, and Customer Facing Functions to deliver integrated brand initiatives.
- Achieve sales, market share, and business objectives, taking corrective actions when needed.
- Manage forecasting and promotional budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Generate and leverage customer, market, and competitor insights to optimize brand performance and customer engagement.
- Lead brand training and sales cycle meetings to ensure consistent execution of strategy and approved messaging.
- Drive innovation and multichannel engagement, continuously improving marketing effectiveness and customer experience.
- University degree preferably in Life Sciences.
- Consolidated experience in Brand Management, Product Management, Marketing and Commercial Excellence.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing brand strategies for hospital products and complex therapeutic areas.
- Experience working within cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, customer engagement, and Go-to-Market execution.
- Strong understanding of launch planning, Integrated Customer Planning (ICP), and multichannel engagement strategies.
- Proven analytical capabilities, including interpretation of market trends, customer insights, sales performance, and competitor intelligence.
- Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, budget management, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Digital mindset with proficiency in CRM platforms, omnichannel engagement, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools.
- Ability to work effectively across functions, countries, and matrix organizations.
- Strategic thinking, innovation mindset, customer focus, and results orientation.
- Fluent English & Portuguese speaking.
- Legal eligibility to work and live in Portugal.
