About the Role
As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will support the design and development of solar PV and renewable energy projects, working closely with experienced engineers and project managers in a collaborative international environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to grow within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of solar PV systems according to project requirements and site conditions
- Support site visits and technical assessments
- Produce and update 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD or similar software
- Assist in preparing electrical diagrams, installation layouts, and technical documentation
- Perform basic shading analysis and support system optimisation activities
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to develop efficient and cost-effective solutions
- Support grid connection studies and compliance with technical standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation and material lists
- Stay updated on renewable energy technologies and industry best practices

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- 0–2 years of professional experience in electrical or renewable energy projects
- Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical design principles
- Familiarity with AutoCAD; knowledge of PVsyst or Helioscope is a plus
- Understanding of electrical standards and grid connection concepts is advantageous
- Knowledge of ETAP or DIgSILENT is considered a plus
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of Portuguese, Spanish, or French is an advantage
