Tanoa Café is hiring a Waiter / Barista to join our team in Bairro Alto, Lisbon.
We are a small, busy and international brunch café with many foreign customers, tourists and expats. We serve brunch, specialty coffee, fresh juices and comfort food in a colourful, informal and friendly environment.
We are looking for someone with experience in table service, barista work or hospitality, who speaks confident English and can work in a fast-paced brunch service, especially on weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Customer service
- Table service
- Preparing coffees and drinks
- Supporting brunch service
- Keeping the space organised and clean
- Working as part of a team during busy hours
Requirements:
- Fluent or confident English
- Experience in restaurants, cafés, brunch or hospitality
- Weekend availability
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Fast, reliable and organised
- Able to work under pressure
- Legal right to work in Portugal
- Portuguese is a plus, but not mandatory. Other languages are also valued.
